NASSCOM signs MoU with Chilean IT Association

NASSCOM, an Indian premier trade body, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chile-based Association of Information Technology Companies (ACTI) to encourage growth and development of the IT sector across both the countries. As per the agreement, both organizations will provide a channel to enhance mutual collaboration between the IT companies of both countries. Moreover, the agencies will also assist in developing various platforms, such as work programs, to enable the companies to share their complementary capabilities and experiences.

Som Mittal, President, NASSCOM, commented that the MoU is expected to play a crucial role in the development of a strong relationship between the countries' IT sectors to attain multinational goals. According to the agreement, both organizations will exchange information, publications, and opinions related to the growth and development of the IT industry of both nations. Moreover, Chilean enterprises will be the first to adopt new innovations or technologies developed by Indian enterprises. Through the agreement, the two agencies aim to set up a united Indian-Chilean industry forum.

The agencies will conduct a joint study on "Strategies and best practices of the IT industry in Latin America". The organizations will also ensure training and certification of both the countries' IT workforce.
